With Renewed Thanks

Our Church History. A history of our parish church compiled by the students of Scoil Ruain can be seen at the back of the church. This involved visiting the church, writing records and taking pictures of the church and putting it all down in writing and through photos taken by themselves. This display is well worth a visit.

Keeping Killenaule tidy. Students from Scoil Ruain and young children from Hilltop Playschool took to the streets of Killenaule in the past few weeks on a cleanup of litter in the town. It is now hoped adults will follow their example and make an effort to keep the town tidy. Ten years have passed since Killenaule last entered the Tidy Towns Competition. The local committee first entered in Tidy Towns in 1967 and won many prizes during the following years. It would cheer up the town if some hanging baskets and window boxes were displayed.

Garden Club. Members of the garden club will visit Glanbia Fethard Garden Centre on Tuesday 9th June and a demonstration will be given by a horticulturist. Members to meet at the Car Park in Main Street at 6.30pm.
