John generously raffled 5 large bags of vegetables. Winners were Mary Byrne, Mary Prendergast, Alice Tobin, Margaret Lanigan and Peggy O'Gorman. Week 3-11-08

Successful Halloween Party - Community spirit was shown when two clubs, Sports Complex and local I.C.A. worked together and organised a night to bring out adults to enjoy a social evening in their local hall on Friday 24th October.
The organisers were very pleased with the crowd that attended and wish to thank all those that supported the event and made the night very enjoyable by their presence and by taking part in the fancy dress that added to the occasion. A lot of work goes into organising nights like this and when you get the 'feed back' that everyone was pleased with the meal, comfortable decorated hall and music by John and Eric, it makes it all worthwhile.
Hopefully, 2009 will see this fine complex being made use of more and it is a way of fundraising for many events.

1st Halloween Hamper         Eleanor Prendergast
2nd Bottle Gin                              Sheila Dallton
