Christmas Party
- Local garden club celebrated it's Christmas party by having
lunch at Kelletts Restaurant, Fethard on Sunday 7th December.
Twenty members sat down to a delicious meal which was enjoyed
by all and all received special gifts from our own Santa Claus.
Thanks to Mary Ryan for organising the occasion and to the management
and staff of the restaurant for their help. Note of sympathy was
passed to the Ruttle family, Crohane on the recent death of Charlie
who was very helpful to our club. The Club will resume meetings
in February.
Senior Citizens Party
- Sixty six members enjoyed their party organised by committee
held at the Slievemon Golf Club on Wednesday 10th December, after
lunch all members got a Christmas gift and danced the evening

Active Retirement
- Twenty six members of A.R.A. celebrated it's outing for Christmas
at Slievemon Golf Club on Friday 12th December at 8pm. Members
complimented the restaurant on the deliciour meal served and the
good service and not forgetting Sean O'Callaghan for his choice
of music for dancing. Lucky dip took place and we all were quite
excited on receiving a gift.
Club will meet again on Wednesday 11th February, St. Mary's Hall.
Santa's Visit -
Large crowd were delighted to see ther arrival of Santa on 7th
December. 'Amazing' was the word used to describe the work and
effort put into running this event for the children as well as
the adults.
Well done to the young organising committee, Sports Complex, Fas
and Civil Defence.

Santa's Visit -
The Killenaule Playground Group are delighted to announce Santa
will visit Killenaule on Sunday 7th December at the sports complex.
This years event is bookings only, please phone 052-55032 or 087
1315717 to book as soon as possible. The committee are hard at
work preparing the 'Santa Tour' and would appreciate help from
volunteers over the coming weeks with construction in the complex
and also assistance on the day.
Next meeting on Monday, 24th November in St Mary's Hall, Killenaule.
I.C.A. - Sunday
30th November, the local guild I.C.A. held a demonstration of
Christmas Floral Arrangements given by Mildred Stokes (National
Award Winner) in St. Mary's Hall.
A Federation Meeting was held in Sports Complex this thursday
27th November. A fine turnout of South Tipperary guilds attended.
Garden Club - On
Sunday 7th December, thelocal garden club will have their Christmas
lunch in Kelletts Restaurant, Fethard. Confirm booking with mary

Senior Citizens' Club
- On Wednesday 10th December, the senior citizens will have their
Christmas Dinner at Fairways Restaurant at 2.30pm. Bus leaving
outside St. Mary's Hall at 1.30pm sharp. Make sure you have given

Active Retirement -
On Friday 12th December, Active Retirement will hold their Christmas
Dinner at Fairways Restaurant at 7pm. Names and deposits to Mary

Killenaule G.A.A.
- The U21 hurlers were knocked out of the South Hurling Championship
last Sunday afternoon when they were beaten by Ballingarryin thesemi-final
by 2-16 to 1-09 in Monroe. The team put in a hugre effort and
they fought all the way to the end but unfortunatelyit wasnt enough
to reachthe south finalas they made their exit from the championship.
However the club is extremely proud of their efforts in their
four championship matches in the south this year and hopefully
they can go further in 2009.
