UPDATE ON VACCINES.

We got a further supply of vaccine on Tuesday 27^th April. We are getting fewer vaccines than we hoped for. We will have enough to give a 2^nd vaccine to all those who got a vaccine on the 30^th of March or the 1^st of April. We will ring you with a time. There is no need to call the surgery

We will have approximately 12 vaccines for very risk patients known as category 4a. We have a list of 70 names. We will be working through that list. We will ring you. Again there is no need to call the surgery.

If you are in your 60s, we are no longer allowed to give you a first vaccine in the surgery. If you are over 65 you register online at www.hse.ie  or ring the HSE directly on 1850 24 1850 to register for your vaccine.  If you are 60-64 you are now able to register. Our advice is to take the first vaccine you are offered. They are all safe and effective.

If you are under 60 and in the very high risk group (group 4) we still expect to get a vaccine for you by the 6^th May at the latest. If you are in the high risk group (group 7) we expect to get a vaccine for you by the 6^h May, the 14^th of May at the latest. We have lists. Nobody will be left behind.
