Killenaule/Moyglass Parish Journal Launch
The people of Killenaule and Moyglass and the surrounding area are cordially invited to the Launch of the 2012 Parish Journal in Scoil Ruain Killenuale on Sunday 2nd December at 3 pm. Refreshments provided.
Centra Killenaule
Held this Sponsor Walk in aid of Action Breast Cancer Awareness last Sunday 14th October here in Killenaule; which was a great success. Over 100 participants completed the Walk in Aid of Action Breast Cancer. €1,400 was raised. Mr. Pat Butler – Store Manager wishes to thank all those who participated in the Walk and to those who contributed kindly to this worthy cause.
Archbishop To Visit Scoil Ruain
The Archbishop of Cashel / Emly will visit Scoil Ruain on Wednesday next 24th October. A Prayer Service will be held in St. Mary’s Church, where all the Teachers and Pupils will assemble for the occasion. The Liturgical Music will be led by the Pupils of Scoil Ruain directed by Siobhaín Hall – a member of staff.

Confirmation Dates:- Will be announced when they come to hand.
Parents Meeting For All Those Preparing For 1st Holy Communion.
Will be held on Tuesday 13th November 2013 at 8pm in St. Mary’s Hall.
Bible Classes:
The series of Bible Classes held over the last four Monday Nights have come to a close. We thank all those who supported the Classes; our thanks also to our Speakers. Each; opened our hearts and minds to God’s Word and God’s Wisdom. Each one present were presented with a copy of St. Luke’s Gospel for further reflection during this the Year of St. Luke. Thanks again for your support and thanks to all our speakers who travelled from Dublin to be with us.

would be suitable for the new school library. If you have any to spare please

Dance Revolution
Is coming to Fethard,they aim to encourage children and teenagers an active and healthy lifestyle through dance,they teach lots of Hip Hop and Break Dance moves and promise each class will be filled with fun and excitement. Unwanted Musical Instruments
If you have any unwanted musical instruments at home that you will never use and would like to donate them to a worthy cause. The Old School House in the Commons is a community building and the committee would love to have instruments that could be used by people that drop into the School House or also for Trad Sessions. The Slieveardagh Lotto is held on Tuesday Nights, this week the Lotto will take place in Slieveardagh Cultural & Enterprise Centre. This week’s Prize Fund is €15,450.00– Jackpot: €15,250.00. Tickets cost €2.00 and are available in Slieveardagh Centre Killenaule, Shops, Pubs and Post Offices in Killenaule, Ballingarry, Glengoole, The Commons, Gortnahoe, Grange, Ballysloe and Ballynonty. No winner of the Prize Fund or Jackpot last Tuesday. Next draw takes place on Tuesday 23rd October 2012.

Internet Café: Broadband Internet Access is now available to the public in the Slieveardagh Centre – all new computers. Only €2.00 for one hour.
Mines DVD
A composition DVD of all past workers in the Ballingarry Mines is available to buy in The Old School House – The Commons. The DVD is selling fast and would be a perfect Christmas Present. The DVD is €10.00 with all proceeds going to refurbishment and running costs of the Old School House – The Commons.
