Funeral Arrangements:
Funerals will arrive at St. Mary’s Church at 7pm in the future. People travelling long distances, the earlier time will help those travelling and add to safety on our roads and on our streets. Getting back home during these long and dark winter nights.

Christmas Tree & Lights
The erection of the Christmas Tree has already lifted all the gloom surrounding us and with the erection of the lights, it should create a new spirit and bring joy into people’s life.  Congratulations to everybody concerned.

Suir Haven Thurles – Cancer Support Centre.
The group meet on 1st Tuesday of each month. Next date is Tuesday 6th November 2012 form 11 am – 12.30 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to give members an opportunity to meet other members, chat and have a cup of tea or coffee and to support others in a similar situation. St. Vincent de Paul

Ballynonty Garden of Remembrance
Are holding a Night of Comedy & Fun in the Sports Complex Killenaule on Friday 9th November at 8 pm. Items include – Dancing, Song & Fashion. Also a One Act Comedy “Dispensary Dan” by Glengoole / Gortnahoe Drama Group.

A Free Sports Workshop Series
Will take place in LIT Tipperary, Thurles on Wednesday 7th November at 7.30 pm sharp.  This first event will feature a “Motivation in Sport” Workshop by Dr.Eamonn O’ Shea, new Tipperary Hurling Manager and “Legal Responsibilities of Clubs and their Officers” by Shane O’ Neill, Solicitor & Club Member of Na Piarsaigh. Introductory Woodwork Programme – Ballingarry
Are you male and 12 months unemployed? Do you have a few hours to spare every Tuesday Morning? Are you interested in woodwork? If the answer is yes, why not attend this 6 week programme – Introduction to Woodwork. Morning Mass And Adoration Every Wednesday
Is offered each morning at 10.30 am in the presence of a large congregation and in the comfort of St. Mary’s Hall. St. Mary’s Hall is now the centre of Morning Mass and also the Adoration Room. Every Wednesday from 11 am to 9 pm. The Prayer Room is open to everybody where you can drop in at any time to suit yourself. Every Wednesday Morning everybody is invited to come at a time in the day that is convenient. Your time spent there will be rewarding to yourself, your family and your parish.

Annual Remembrance Service
The Mid Western Regional Maternity Hospital Limerick would like to invite Couples and their Families who have experienced miscarriage or whose baby died in or around the time of birth to a Remembrance Service on Sunday 11th November 2012 at 3 pm in The Holy Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Limerick.

Dance Revolution
Is coming to Fethard,they aim to encourage children and teenagers an active and healthy lifestyle through dance,they teach lots of Hip Hop and Break Dance moves and promise each class will be filled with fun and excitement. St. Mary’s Hall Booked  has been booked from Monday Night 22nd October to Monday Night 19th November inclusive, for Irish Dancing Classes.

Unwanted Musical Instruments
If you have any unwanted musical instruments at home that you will never use and would like to donate them to a worthy cause.  The Old School House in the Commons is a community building and the committee would love to have instruments that could be used by people that drop into the School House or also for Trad Sessions.  If you have an instrument we would be more than happy to take it.  Please call (052) 9156165 for  further details.

Getting Married In The Catholic Church
1. You are required to give 3 months notice to the Priest where the Marriage is celebrated.
2. Fill in a pre-nuptial form with the Priest of your Parish.
3. Produce – Recent Baptismal, Confirmation Certificate and Letters of Freedom.
4. Produce Certificate confirming attendance at a Marriage Preparation Course.

The Slieveardagh Lotto is held on Tuesday Nights, this week the Lotto will take place in Slieveardagh Cultural & Enterprise Centre.  This week’s Prize Fund is €15,550.00– Jackpot: €15,350.00. Tickets cost €2.00 and are available in Slieveardagh Centre Killenaule, Shops, Pubs and Post Offices in Killenaule, Ballingarry, Glengoole, The Commons, Gortnahoe, Grange, Ballysloe and Ballynonty. No winner of the Prize Fund or Jackpot last Tuesday. Next draw takes place on Tuesday 6th November 2012.

Internet Café: Broadband Internet Access is now available to the public in the Slieveardagh Centre – all new computers.  Only €2.00 for one hour.

Mines DVD
A composition DVD of all past workers in the Ballingarry Mines is available to buy in The Old School House – The Commons.  The DVD is selling fast and would be a perfect Christmas Present.  The DVD is €10.00 with all proceeds going to refurbishment and running costs of the Old School House – The Commons.
