Presentation Secondary School Ballingarry
Calling All Emigrants -We Want To Hear Your Views
A group of Transition Year students have embarked on a very interesting project which is closely linked to “The Gathering” which we will be hosting later in the year. As part of their English class they have begun exploring the importance of Local Media e.g. Tipperary Star and Local Radio Tipp FM in the lives of local emigrants. To complete this study we need your help. Questionnaires have been posted on some of our local websites and are available from the school office. We would appreciate if you could encourage any of your friends or relatives living abroad to copy and complete this questionnaire and return it at their convenience to the school either by post or at presballingarry@eircom.net. Copies of the questionnaire can be found on The Slieveargagh, Ballingarry, Killenaule and Mullinahone Websites and we hope to have it posted soon on the Gotnahoe/Glengoole, and Drangan Websites. With your help we hope to compile some interesting results and look forward to sharing our findings with you.
