A number of events will take place during this week; these include a presentation by a representative from Trocaire on developmental issues. On Wednesday grandparents of our students will gather in our school so that we can pay tribute to the role they play in supporting the community of faith at home and in the parish. T.Y. Students Take To The Dance Floor
Transition Year students, this week took to the floor and began a master class in set dancing under the tuition and guidance of our own local exceptionally talented master Irish dancer, Michael Cooney. Our students will have an opportunity over the next ten weeks to learn the skills and techniques of Irish dancing. For some this will undoubtedly be the beginning of a new lifelong hobby. Michael’s enthusiasm, together with his energy had students and teachers, Ms. Sheehan and Bean Ui Laocha on the floor in minutes. They are already counting down to next week. Riverdance watch this space.
