Franciscan Sisters Appeal 9th/10th March 2013
The Franciscan Sisters will visit our Parish and will make an appeal at all Masses in Killenaule & Moyglass during the weekend of the 9th/10th March 2013. We ask for support to them when they visit the Parish. Fr. Ryan PP & Fr. McCarthy CC.
Eucharistic Adoration – Can You Not Watch One Hour With Jesus
In The Eucharist Jesus Is Present. The Eucharist is the greatest Miracle ever worked by Jesus to perpetuate his Passion and Sacrifice with us and he is specially present to each person. Christ asked this of Sr. Margaret Mary as he asked the Apostles in the Garden of Olives. “Can you read the above this weekend – Jesus also asks you to watch one hour with him in our beautiful Prayer Room. If you would like to take part in the Eucharistic Adoration talk to Fr. Ryan or Kathleen Cormack, who will give you every support and help.
St. Mary’s Central National School
Will hold its Annual Open Day on Friday 8th March. All parents are welcome to join us and get a taste of daily life in our School. Open day will run in tandem with a Science Exhibition to celebrate our continued involvement with the Discover Primary Science & Maths Awards of Excellence. Names are being taken for the banjo classes as these were very successful in 2012. The lessons will run for 10 weeks 7 – 9 each night. Must have own banjo. 4 places remaining.
Advanced Banjo Classes – Will commence once fully booked
Adults who have basic banjo skills will upgrade their skills and move onto more advanced banjo. Must have own banjo. Classes will run for 10 weeks 7 – 9 each night. 4 places remaining.

Those are to be congratulated in their efforts to protect our Graveyards. The sacred place where family, friends & neighbours are buried. Those who have come together deserve every support in their efforts. RIP Service is nil, enough to protect those Sacred Places from vandalism and destruction.

Getting Married In The Catholic Church
1. You are required to give 3 months notice to the Priest where the Marriage is celebrated.
2. Fill in a pre-nuptial form with the Priest of your Parish.
3. Produce – Recent Baptismal, Confirmation Certificate and Letters of Freedom.
4. Produce Certificate confirming attendance at a Marriage Preparation Course.

The Slieveardagh Lotto is held on Tuesday Nights, this week the Lotto will take place in Slieveardagh Cultural & Enterprise Centre. This week’s Prize Fund is €16,250.00– Jackpot: €16,050.00. Tickets cost €2.00 and are available in Slieveardagh Centre Killenaule, Shops, Pubs and Post Offices in Killenaule, Ballingarry, Glengoole, The Commons, Gortnahoe, Grange, Ballysloe and Ballynonty. No winner of the Prize Fund or Jackpot last Tuesday. Next draw takes place on Tuesday 26th February 2013.
