The Millennium Family Resource Centre
Is holding its Family Fun Day on the 30th August in the centre. We are currently looking for donations for the Bric a Brack stall. If you have unwanted Gifts, Toys, Books, Jewellery, Ornaments or household items in good condition we would welcome their dontation. Items can be left into Millennium Fmaily Resource Centre between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday. We would appreciate if the items could be left at the centre before the 28th August. Fethard and District Day Care Centre Company Ltd
The Coolmoyne and Moyglass Vintage Club will hold their Annual Tractor Run in aid of the Fethard and District Day Care Centre on Saturday 27th July. Leaving Moyglass at 3 pm travelling via Rocklow, Ballybrigh, Killenaule Road Fethard, with a stop for refreshments and continuing to Red City, Barrettstown Cross, Coolmoyne Cross, Mockler’s Hill, Silverfort Cross, O’ Dea Cross, Clonbrogan and returning to Moyglass.
Fennor Graveyard Mass
The Annual Mass will be celebrated in Fennor Graveyard Gortnahoe on Thursday Night 25th July at 7.30 pm.

Pilgrimage to Knock

Famine 1848, 27th July At 3 pm
This Annual Walk takes place in Ballingarry on Saturday 27th July at 3 pm. The starting point is the National Flag Monument in The Commons and concludes at the Famine Warhouse, the State National Heritage Site. The walk covers a distance of one and a half miles. The walk commorates all those who died during the Great Famine and the 1848 Rising; which took place in Ballingarry in the middle of the Famine. This walk will be led by Dr. Martin Mansergh. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
Slieveardagh Rural Development Autumn Courses 2013

Slieveardagh Centre Killenaule will close at 1 pm on Friday 2nd August to 9 am on Tuesday 20th August (2 weeks) for Summer Holidays, please take note of these dates if you have printing etc, that needs to be done, as the centre will be closed. The Killenaule Library will be closed on Wednesday 7th and 14th August due to Slieveardagh Centre closing for Holidays. Library will reopen on Wednesday 21st August. Please call Thurles Library on (0504) 29720 during these 2 weeks if you need to renew books etc..
Eucharistic Adoration
Continues every Wednesday in the Prayer Room from 11 am – 7 pm. To all our parishioners we say feel free to come to the Prayer Room on Wednesday. Why not just drop in and spend some time with the Lord – He would want to meet you and speak to you there. An appeal to all who have cars, call and bring a parishioner confined to their homes, what a wonderful way of helping people to meet Jesus.

Getting Married In The Catholic Church
1. You are required to give 3 months notice to the Priest where the Marriage is celebrated.
2. Fill in a pre-nuptial form with the Priest of your Parish.
3. Produce – Recent Baptismal, Confirmation Certificate and Letters of Freedom.
4. Produce Certificate confirming attendance at a Marriage Preparation Course.

No Winner. The Slieveardagh Lotto is held on Wednesday Mornings, this week the Lotto will take place in Slieveardagh Cultural & Enterprise Centre. This week’s Prize Fund is €17,300.00– Jackpot: €17,100.00. Tickets cost €2.00 and are available in Slieveardagh Centre Killenaule, Shops, Pubs and Post Offices in Killenaule, Ballingarry, Glengoole, The Commons, Gortnahoe, Grange, Ballysloe and Ballynonty. No winner of the Prize Fund or Jackpot last Tuesday. Next draw takes place on Wednesday Morning 24th July 2013.
