U14s drew with St Pat’s 3-6 to 2-9 in a game where we had lots of possession but didn’t convert all our chances. Some great scores on the night from Louis Doyle, Eoin Byrne, Daniel Burke, Jack Healy and Ben Ruttle.
U12A had a great win against Moyle Rovers. We were down 2 points at half time and in the second half came back to win 5-7 to 2-6. Some great scores on the night from Oisin Shelly, Padraig ODwyer, Fionn Fitzgerald and Luke Ryan and overall a fantastic team performance.
U12A team also played Ballylooby but after starting strong were leading at half time by 6 points. However Ballylooby played a strong second half to win the game 6-7 to 5-3. Scores came from Jimmy Ryan, Oisin Shelly and Luke Ryan.
U12D team gave a great display against St Mary’s but didn’t convert all our chances and lost by 3-1 to 1-1. Scores from Shane Ryan and great goal by David Lawlor on the night.
U10s had a busy week travelling to Galbally, Co. Limerick to play a football blitz. We played 3 games against Limerick teams with some fine displays of football. A great day out for everyone.
We also had 2 teams playing against Moycarkey in a hurling challenge with both teams showcasing some great skills of the game. Well done everyone.
U6 and U8 training continues every Wednesday at 6:30.
Note Cul Camp will take place in Killenaule GAA pitch from 24th to 28th July for boys and girls aged 6 to 13. This is an action packed and fun filled week. Book early to avoid disappointment.
