Killenaule Juvenile GAA Club News
The U8’s played Holycross in a recent challenge game and also travelled to Cashel playing 4 games showing some great displays of hurling .
The U11’s have made a great start in their tournaments by winning their football games v Ballyporeen and Fethard. They also won their hurling game v Carrick Davins in a closely fought encounter.
Hard luck to our U14 team who lost to Grangemockler in the South Semi in injury time. We got off to a slow start and were trailing 1-5 to 0-3 but put in a brave performance in the second half. With time running out and leading by 4 points it looked like we had done enough but credit to Grangemockler who never gave up and scored 1-1 in injury time to win on scoreline of 2-13 to 3-6. Scores on the night came from Adam Ryan, Ben Ruttle, Seamie Healy and Louie Doyle. Well done to all the players who have improved with each game in this campaign. Thanks to all the coaches for the great work and progress made with this team.
Congratulations and well done to U14 player Louie Doyle and Tipperary team on winning the All Ireland U14 Tony Forristal Tournament.
Congratulations and well done to U16 player Darragh Fitzgerald and Tipperary team who reached the final of the U16 tournament.
