Killenaule Juvenile GAA notes

 

U10’s took part in their first football blitz of the season in Rockwell.  There were two teams and played 3 matches each. Thanks to Rockwell for hosting this blitz.

 

U14’s

U14B football team won against St. Patrick’s on a scoreline of 4-6 to 4-4. This was a close game from start to finish with some good displays of football from both teams. Scorers were Nathan Barrett, Johnny Gleeson, Padraig ODwyer and Fionn Fitzgerald.

U14C football team won against who won against Carrick Davins 6-1 to 1-12. Scorers on the night from Tadgh Burns, Aidan Flynn, Charlie Cummins, Paraic Heffernan and Dylan O’Dwyer.

 

U16B football team lost to Mullinahone.  While Mullinahone were stronger in the first half and were leading at half time, great credit to the Killenaule team who never gave up and closed the gap to 0-2 points with 10 mins to go.  However they never got the scores needed to take the lead and the game finished 2-6 to 5-6.
