Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps 23 – 27 July in Killenaule GAA Complex. Cost is €60 for 1st child; €50 for 2nd child; €40 for 3rd and subsequent children. The cost includes Kit and gear bag. Book online at kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
U8s played hurling blitz in Boherlahan against Durlas Og, JK Brackens and Boherlahan.
U12B team won against Ballybacon Grange on a scoreline of 4-4 to 3-3. This was a competitive game with Killenaule losing by 5 points with time running out. They never gave up and David Lawlot scored 2 late goals to steal victory. Thanks to former Tipperary Goalkeeper Brendan Cummins who provided words of wisdom to the team afterwards and gave some goalkeeping tips to Daragh OGorman.
Team David Lahart, David Lawlor, Padraig Duggan, Eoin O’Dwyer, David Murphy, Katie O’Dwyer, Dylan O’Dwyer, Bill Smyth, Shane Ryan, Daragh OGorman, Daragh Doyle, Tony Ryan, Eoin Bourke.
They also won against Cahir 5-5 to 3-2. This win means they are now through to the south semi final with one game left to play in the group.
U12D team lost to a much stronger Carrick Davins team but gave their all and are improving with each game.
U14s got the hurling championship off to a winning start against Ballingarry on a scoreline of 3-4 to 1-5. Scorers on the night Padraig O’Dwyer, Jack Healy, Tomas Ryan, Oisin Shelly and Oisin Lyons.
Well done to Mark Stakelum, Ciaran O’Dwyer and Daragh Fitzgerald who played great in the Celtic Challenge Hurling Final but unfortunately lost by a pint in extra time 1-19 to 2-17. Well done to Daragh who scored 1-11 and won ‘Best and Fairest’ Award.
