Public Meeting about the Clashawley Priority Area for Action

Public Meeting about the Clashawley Priority Area for Action

26 October 2018 0 By Malcolm

Meeting has been postponed until further notice.

The River Basin Management Plan, 2018-2021 has identified a number of our natural waters for focused action, to improve water quality. The Local Authority Waters Programme are undertaking a series of public meetings on these Prioritised Areas for Action (PAA) in order to inform the public about the planned work programme and to gather any local information that may inform the process.

The Clashawley PAA includes the area around Killenaule and Ballinunty,  and south of Dualla (map of area illustrated in poster attached).

Work has commenced on the Clashawley PAA and a public meeting has been scheduled which we would like to invite the Killenaule Community to:

30th October at 19:30 in St.Mary’s Community Hall, Killenaule.

If you have any queries, please contact myself, Sinéad Barrett, Catchment Scientist within the South East Region.

Yours sincerely,

Sinéad
