The church site of Kilkennybeg is the third field from a bridge on the river that flows between the bounds of the townsland of Graiguelower. It is the Ballyluskey side of the bridge, on the right as you come from Ballyluskey to Killenaule. The land is now owned by Mr. Smith but was formerly Ryans. The church site is beyond the dwelling house and to the north of it, more or less over the glen through which the stream runs. An old road to the house is still on the land and is situated opposite the entrance to the Archbishop’s house. No remains of the church are visible today. The field on which the church stood is of five acres and is said to be one of the best fields in the townsland. It was known as church field.
