Sport has always been a part of Killenaule, varying from Gaelic football and Hurling to Soccer, over the last few years Killenaule has won a lot of silverware from South Finals to Shield Finals.
The most recent South Final was one won by the Junior B’s, silverware for the soccer team last came early in 2012
The G.A.A club host’s teams from as young as 6 all the way up to senior.
If field sports aren’t your thing there’s also the Scoil Ruain gym that is always in great demand.
The Sport’s Centre also contains an indoor basketball pitch as well as an indoor soccer pitch.
Behind the school itself is an all-weather pitch and a G.A.A school field behind. Sport is a very big part and always will be associated with our community.
